I’ll admit, I’m going to miss the little wizard guy. However I do like this thing where they completely change their logo randomly every few months.

I’ve started a collection:

It’s already February 3rd in Japan which means it’s already Geto’s birthday, and since it’s been announced that the Spring issue of the Jump Giga 2023 magazine will have a Special Illustration of Teen Gojo & Geto titled “3 years of Blue Spring”, I feel the need to remind everyone that Suguru was born on the “Risshun” (立春), aka the first day of spring according to the traditional lunisolar calendar.

Meanwhile, Gojo was born on the “Taisetsu” (大雪), which is the time of the year when the snow begins to fall heavily, indicating that the coldest season has arrived (probably a reference to the fact that his birth changed the Jujutsu world, and how, as the strongest sorcerer appeared, stronger curses began appearing, too).

Suguru was born on the day when the first signs of spring appear —the end of the cold season associated with Satoru—. So it’s not a coincidence that the 3 years Gojo spent with Suguru are described as his “blue spring” (青い春), or the “springtime” of his life, (implying that it was the best/happiest time of their lives).

we don’t know gojou’s last words to getou, but we know that getou didn’t become a curse after his death. gojou wasn’t able to get rid of getou’s body and that’s exactly what doomed him later in shibuya. so getou didn’t become a curse in the traditional way but he came back to haunt gojou anyway. love is really the most twisted curse of them all.
